going electric
CLEAN POWER THAT MEANS BUSINESS
With Emission Regulations Becoming More Strict, Electrification is On the Rise
As technology evolves, so do power sources. How do you tackle today's work without losing sight of the future impact?
With strict emissions regulations and warehouses facing intense productivity demands, switching to electric-powered lift trucks makes real business sense. Plus, reducing your impact on the environment is becoming less of a choice and more of a mandate.
You need a partner that is leading the way to provide sustainable options to power your fleet.

REGULATION COMPLIANCE
Federal and state governments are pledging new decarbonization commitments to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by transitioning a greater share of energy consumption from fossil fuels to renewable sources.
The U.S. federal government aims to cut GHG pollution in half from 2005 levels by 2030.
GREEN INITIATIVES
Companies are setting their own sustainability initiatives and decarbonization timelines especially when it comes to the supply chain, which often accounts for more than 90% of an organization’s emissions.
According to the 2023 MHI annual industry report:
- Nearly half of supply chain professionals say they face increased influences to adopt a more sustainable supply chain with pressure coming from consumers, regulators, industry groups, media, social media and other stakeholders.
- Electrification is the single greatest area of focus with 40% of supply chain professionals identifying it as their top priority.
KEEPING PEOPLE HEALTHY AND SAFE
Workplace safety is critical for all organizations, especially those with people working around heavy equipment, in busy facilities or tough conditions. Businesses also face increasing pressure because fossil fuel emissions have implications on public health.
- About 25% of workers across all U.S. industries have been exposed to hazardous noise according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
- According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, between 2021 - 2022, there were more than a half million workplace musculoskeletal disorders or “ergonomic injuries” that resulted in at least one day away from work.
