Dock & Door Services
critical to productivity, energy savings and safety
Loading docks and industrial doors are a critical part of distribution centers, warehouses, commercial spaces and manufacturing plants. Unfortunately, all warehouses are not created equal, so it's important to find a dock and door that fits each unique business needs.
It's easy to make mistakes when differentiating between the various traits of loading docks... and those miscalculations can result in expensive maintenance, unsafe working conditions and operational inefficency.
BETTER SOLUTIONS FOR A SAFER LOADING DOCK
DON'T LET LOADING DOCK PROBLEMS SLOW YOU DOWN
A properly functioning dock keeps your products moving. It's important to schedule operational checks to make minor adjustments and properly lubricate components. This maintenance allows detection of minor problems before they become major, costly repairs. For optimum dock safety, we recommend maintenance a minimum of four times a year in accordance with OEM guidelines to minimize the possibility of on-site accidents or issues.
PLANNED MAINTENANCE
By implementing a proactive maintenance plan, you can avoid costly repairs, minimize downtime and ensure the safety of your employees and equipment.
INSPECTIONS & TESTING
Identify potential hazards with thorough, periodic inspections and resolve them promptly, reducing the risk of accidents and improving overall workplace safety.
ARE YOUR DOCKS IN COMPLIANCE?
There’s more to moving product than backing up and loading a truck. A well-maintained dock is what makes the process safe and efficient.
OSHA 1910.28(b)(1)(i) states that dock areas 4 feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level where there is the danger of employee falling shall be guarded by a safety barrier including chains, guardrails, safety nets or personal fall protection systems.
