Loading Testing
Is your overhead crane compliant? OSHA requires rated load tests for new, relocated and altered cranes to assure that each crane meets the requirements for safe operation.
LOAD TESTING YOUR OVERHEAD LIFTING EQUIPMENT
Prior to the load test, an inspection is performed to make certain that the equipment is safe to handle the load Then, our team uses weight carts, load weights or water weights depending on the size of the crane and your application. We closely follow ASME B30.16 guidelines testing 100% to 125% of the rated load capacity unless otherwise recommended by the manufacturer.
In addition to running the load, we will also test the holding brake to ensure safe operation.
