Turret

Turret trucks are specialized forklifts designed to maximize storage capacity in very narrow aisle warehouses while providing efficient access to high racking. Unlike traditional forklifts, the fork carriage rotates independently, allowing operators to pick or place pallets on either side of the aisle without turning the truck. This design reduces aisle width and helps warehouses add more pallet positions within the same building footprint. Turret trucks are commonly used in distribution centers, cold storage facilities, manufacturing warehouses and high-volume fulfillment operations where storage density and inventory access are critical. Depending on the application, they can support full pallet handling, case picking or a combination of both. When selecting a turret truck, consider aisle width, lift height, pallet weight, floor flatness and whether wire or rail guidance is required.
