AERIAL LIFT operator training

Elevate your Skills with operation Certification

Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) are referred to by many names including elevated work platforms, aerial work platforms or aerial lifts. The operator class can cover equipment ranging from aerial lifts like boom lifts to scissor lifts.  The term MEWP is the new language being used by OSHA, ANSI, and CSA.

Training is required under OSHA 29 CFR 1926 /1910 to safely operate equipment like boom lifts, scissor lifts and man lifts. The class teaches operators how to safely work at heights and in a variety of environments.

Did you know? Aerial lift operators must be recertified every three years or earlier if there is an unsafe act, near miss, accident or changes to the equipment or workplace

OSHA requires aerial lift safety training.
